If a friend were to be a flower
Certainly in my mind there would be no other
A daisy would hint to me a smile
While waving at me from a thousand mile
It would soothe my sadness and melancholy
It would brighten my day with cheerfulness and glee
Through its intense color of white, pink or yellow
Perhaps it would whisper in my ear a simple hello
Oh dear flower friend I hope you could keep me company
Endow me a beautiful sight like a honey bee
If indeed a friend were to be a flower
Without doubt in my mind it would be you and no other
